Park and Ride

Park and Ride arrangements for events at Dairy Farmers Stadium have been enahnced for 2010.

The 'Park and Ride' facility is on the corner of Hinchinbrook Drive and Thuringowa Drive.

Shuttle buses to Dairy Farmers Stadium will depart from the ‘Park and Ride’ facility at regular intervals from 30 minutes prior to gate opening time.

Return services will depart Dairy Farmers Stadium immediately after the completion of the main event.

There will be no cost to park at the Park and Ride facility, or to ride the shuttle service.

Parking restrictions will again apply in the local area surrounding Dairy Farmers Stadium for events in 2010.

Patrons walking to Dairy Farmers Stadium from the Eastern side of the venue are encouraged to use the new pedestrian bridge adjoining Canterbury Road.

Parking Control

Parking control around Dairy Farmers Stadium is in place to improve pedestrian safety and public transport flow throughout the stadium precinct. The parking control plan means no stopping in streets surrounding the Stadium between 2pm and 10pm on days of major stadium events.

A date panel is installed on the entry signage to the traffic control area two days prior to each major event, to alert residents and patrons of the upcoming parking restrictions.

The following will be no stopping areas during major events:

Aspen Place, Lilium Close, Beck Road (Hervey Range Rd to first roundabout), Michelia Close, Bryony Court, Morindo Drive, Canterbury Road, Nineteenth Avenue, Cardwell Court, Oakmont Close, Chelsea Drive, Riveria Circuit, Clarence Court, Robina Close, Colchester Crescent, Rowan Court, Evergreen Drive, Senna Place, Fairway Close, St Andrews Close, Florentor Court, St Davids Close, Fortunia Lane, Sunningdale Court, Gardenia Avenue, Sweetgum Place, Golf Links Drive, Torenia Close, Hoop Street, Troon Way, Jasmine Court,
Woodlake Avenue and Landel Court.

Public Transport

Sunbus run shuttle bus services to Dairy Farmers Stadium from Townsville CBD (pickup opposite Cowboys Leagues Club). For further details visit Sunbus. Buses drop patrons to the northern end of Dairy Farmers Stadium.

Taxi

A taxi rank and drop off zone is located at the northern end of Dairy Farmers Stadium. Contact Townsville Taxi's or call 131 008 to make your booking.

Limousine

Acacia Limousines will provide a door to door service between your home and the stadium.

Parking

There is no public parking available at Dairy Farmers Stadium.

We encourage all fans to take advantage of public transport.
